We’re back in the game with some out of the ordinary, and ready to live it up while the Wisconsin summer is here! I managed to survive a whirlwind (or monsoon?) run of shows in June, culminating with the Wed/Thurs double header of Wildcard Wednesdays at the Cardinal followed the next night by perhaps the best yet ₪ Mentality ₪ at Natt Spil. If you made it to either show you know it’s been a good month for music because the energy was high and the lights were low.

With the Fourth of July holiday weekend fast approaching, parties are popping up like bottle rockets and we’ve got an explosive show lined up. Back in from Boston, Ebiz is bringing his party magic to the Casbah once again for a special night of local sounds. Featuring JP, Milhouse, Hypnoassassin, DJ Foundation (yes, me) and Ebiz himself along with a host of technical gadgets, it’s always a fun time -though I’ll avoid typing the obvious cliché. I think it’s called “How To Make Your Husband A Sultan”. Either that or this was the world’s fastest flier design. I suspect it may be both.

And for the big news: I’ve managed to pick up a tour date for the Cardinal show on 7/23 Something I haven’t done in quite some time, but am quickly remembering I really really love. A rare management snafu with a much loved AirDrop Records left a world class Spanish producer and DJ named Kasper staring at a sparse itinerary, so we took a date and ran with it. I’m still balls deep in paperwork/marketing/guerilla warfare, but it’s all confirmed and ready to go.Instead of me typing out the nth iteration of his bio, just head on over to Resident Advisor for the skinny on the dopeness that will be this show.

I’ll be at the Mercury the night before (7/22) this all goes down for my second appearance at Thirsty Thursday, first at the new location (old location to me..) more details on that later.
