Hello darlings.

As usual, it’s been quite some time. As my adventures into the performing art world gradually subside in favor of bone crushing labor out in the back yard, I’ve had less and less excitement to share -at least of the musical variety; would it excite you if I told you I made a patio? Anyway, this bothers no one more than me and I’m pleased to finally have reason to return with good news. A new show in the works. A Friday night event at my estranged, beloved Cardinal, almost exactly one year after the untimely demise of Radio (the last regular series in downtown Madison showcasing decent house music from around the globe). Joining me will be my old friend and co-pilot Donnie Vendetta, another man who has engaged the demanding schedule of the professional/home-owner/artist. We may bring on some surprise guests as well but all that is in the air as the show isn’t slated to launch until July 23rd, which gives us time to put something nice together for all you dancers who’ve been patiently waiting for a return of consistent, reliable, and classic house music.

In the mean time, I’ve been holding down my regular mind expanding sessions at Natt Spil, one Thursday a month. May actually saw a rare double-header as I covered for fellow jock Acosta on Tuesday, then completely reinvented the vibe again that Thursday. It was an exhausting week but a musical challenge I quite enjoyed. Both nights seemed to have a naturally fantastic energy too, which made it that much better.
This month’s show at Natt Spil is scheduled for June 24th.

Continuing in the ‘double-header’ turn of events, I’ll actually be at the Cardinal the night before that for their WildCard Wednesdays, dropping some [laid back] tech-house tunes with Wyatt Agard and whomever else chance would have that night. The following month of July will also be a two nighter from Natt Spil to the Cardinal show. What the hell. I just noticed all this myself, and it’s pretty strange to be working out this way. Or it could be because I fail to operate a calendar correctly, I’ll let you decide.
Look for this more upbeat performance at the Cardinal on June 23rd.

. ..and finally (shut up already, i know) for the link that makes it all worth reading through -free music! that’s right, I’ve managed to fire off a new mix during all the melee, and I must say it’s as good as Flesh Making Circuitry, which still stands as one of my favorite rides to date. This one is tailored for summer, specifically early dusk into the night, when you’re cruising with friends, heading to the party, or just jamming out on the porch. I’ll hopefully be producing physical copies as well, so keep an eye out for a new collectors item! Lord knows they go fast, the TRIAD series is still in circulation after almost 9 years, and I don’t even have my own copies! So, here’s a download for your summer soundtrack, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
